CERT volunteers can also use the Public Health Reserve Corps's online training portal MRC-TRAIN. This website has tons of online public health preparedness trainings. The volunteer coordinator will frequently announce trainings offered through this system that will help you become a more prepared health department volunteer. The MRC-TRAIN has a discussion board, course tracking system, and links to relevant program websites. Registration takes less than 5 minutes.
